AT-F3044 Shoe Outsole Flexing Rigidity Tester

Shoe Outsole Bending Stiffness Tester is a footwear testing machine used to test the rigidity of shoe outsoles of French shoes in sizes 39 and 42 and British shoes in sizes 6 and 8.

This rigidity tester is an indispensable auxiliary device when conducting outsole flex resistance tests using the Outsole Flexing Tester or the Bennewart Flex Tester.

Test Principle

The forepart of a test piece is secured to the rigid base with a clamping device, ensuring that the hinge axis of the base plate is aligned with the test piece’s flexing line, which is the line at 90° to the longitudinal axis passing through it at one-third of the distance from the toe. After the motor is started, the pulley drives the hinged plate to apply a force to flex the outsole at a bending speed of 100 mm / min until an angle of 45° has been reached and get a force by means of a sensor fixed to the hinged plate at a distance of 315 mm from the hinge that is capable of measuring force in the range of 0 N to 50 N. Or preset a fixed force value so that the hinged plate applies this force to the outsole at a speed of 100 mm / min for testing. An encoder is mounted to the hinged axis to sense the bending angle of the hinged plate and display the value through the display.
