Footwear Static Slip Resistance tester is intended for measurement of the slip resistance of sole, heel lift, or related materials on a dry friction plate in the static state.

Test Principle

The specified test sample is placed horizontally on the friction plate, such as float glass or ceramic tile, and the surface of the sample to be tested faces down. A certain downward load is applied, and the sample is pulled horizontally at a certain speed. The maximum pulling force is measured, and the static friction coefficient is calculated to determine the static anti-skid performance of the sample.
