Lab rubber kneader machine is also called the internal mixer, which can stir, disperse and knead various raw materials such as natural rubber, synthetic rubber, plastic, coloring masterbatch, hot melt adhesive, and various low-viscosity materials.

It has a pair of rotors with a specific shape that can rotate relative to each other and intermittently masticates and kneads polymer materials in a closed space with adjustable temperature and pressure. The ratios and formulations obtained from the experiments can be used for mass production. It is developed based on the two roll mill and has become the best mixing machine for laboratory experiments, small batch production, proofing, and school teaching.

Two rotors inside the mixing chamber rotate toward each other at a certain speed ratio. The material from the feeding mouth is brought into the rotor gap and divided into two parts when hitting the “W” shaped edge at the bottom of the chamber, then returns to the top of the rotor along the gaps between the front, and rear chamber walls and the rotors, and the cycle continues. During the process, the material is subjected to squeezing and shearing under specified temperature and pressure conditions to disperse, plasticize and mix the material uniformly.

Mixing Chamber

  • The chamber is made of high-carbon steel, and the surface is plated with hard chromium after quenching and tempering treatment and vacuum 72-hour deep nitriding heat treatment.
  • The mixing chamber is “W” shaped, with an “M” shaped pressurized cover to form a fully enclosed space.
  • The rotation of the worm wheel makes the front shaft of the mixing chamber as the center, and realizes the action of flipping and unloading, and the turning angle is 110 degrees.

Rotors

  • The rotors are made of high-carbon steel precision casting, and the surface is plated with hard chromium after quenching and tempering and vacuum 72-hour deep nitriding heat treatment.
  • The rotor blades adopt a prismatic spiral design to make the material shear and disperse to meet the physical property requirements.
  • There are spiral ribs on the surface of the rotor, and the number of ribs is two-edged, four-edged, six-edged, etc. The cross-sectional geometry of the rotor is triangular, cylindrical, or elliptical, and there are two types: tangential and meshing.
  • The rotor blade is a hollow structure, which can be cooled or heated by water or steam.
  • The rotors can support positive and negative rotation, which is convenient and fast for discharging.

  • It can be configured with a traditional microcomputer key controller.
  • PLC touch screen man-machine interface is available.
  • With an automatic temperature and time control system.
  • Various operation instructions are integrated into the operating interface for easy operation.
