Our laboratory small cast film extrusion line mainly includes extrusion system, die, calender roller, traction device, cutting device, winding device and control system. A single screw extruder plays the key role of heating, plasticizing, mixing and melting materials. Its barrel and screw are the essential parts, where the plasticization and extrusion of materials are carried out. The barrel and screw of our machine are made of high-quality nitrided steel 38CrMoALA. The surface has been treated with gas nitriding for one week, which has good mechanical properties such as high hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, greatly extending its service life. The barrel heating adopts cast aluminum heaters, built-in high-precision temperature sensors, precise temperature and stainless steel wind hood, beautiful and energy-saving, good heat resistance, long service life, uniform heat transfer, and easy replacement. The fan is cooled through the set channel. When the temperature is too high, the fan will automatically start to cool, and the cooling effect is good. The drive component of the screw adopts a world-renowned brand motor. The drive motor is directly connected to the reducer, and the reducer output shaft is connected to the screw to drive the screw to rotate. The transmission device has a compact structure, stable operation, and strong bearing pressure.

The core component that determines the shape and thickness of the molten extrudate is the die.

This machine is equipped with a T-die, made of 5CrNiMo alloy steel and heat treated, the die flow surface is hard chromed, the thickness is 0.03-0.04mm, the hardness is 60-65HRC, and the die lip flow surface is polished with an accuracy of 0.02-0.04um to ensure the high precision and uniformity of the film thickness. The die can support horizontal extrusion or vertical extrusion as needed.

The film casting line is equipped with at least two rollers behind the die to calender the extruded film. According to the process requirements of the material or the needs of the customer, we can equip the machine with 3 or more calendering rollers. The rollers can be arranged horizontally, vertically or in an L-shaped arrangement. We can configure rollers of different materials according to customer needs. The material of the metal roller is a solid high-carbon steel material, and the surface is chromed and mirror polished to ensure the smoothness and flatness of the film surface. If a rubber roller is selected, it can be cooled by water circulation. The roller pitch can be adjusted manually. By adjusting the roller gap and pressure, the calender rollers can accurately control the thickness uniformity and surface flatness of the film. You can also choose patterned rollers or a matte rollers to achieve different surface treatment effects on the film. In the second half of the production line, the film products will be stretched and cut. Finally, as the winding roller rotates, the finished film can be automatically rolled up. The winding device of the machine is equipped with a mobile slide to facilitate the winding distance of the mobile auxiliary machine. The laboratory cast film machine is equipped with a Siemens PLC human-machine interaction interface. The operating status of the machine will be intuitively displayed on this high-definition color screen. It allows you to tap on the corresponding virtual button to enter the necessary parameters and control the operation of the machine. The whole machine is equipped with multiple emergency stop devices and various safety protection devices to ensure the safety of operators.

In addition to single-layer films, we can also provide more models to meet the production of AB double-layer co-extrusion, ABA or ABC three-layer co-extrusion, ABCBA five-layer co-extrusion plastic products. After multiple polymer melts are collected through the co-extrusion die, they become a film melt flow composed of multiple layers of different polymer melts, and multi-layer co-extruded films or sheets are obtained after extrusion and cooling.
