Spectacle Frame Perspiration Resistance Tester is capable of simulating the sweaty environment that eyeglass frames may be subjected to during use. Specimens are exposed to this environment for a specified duration to determine the surface resistance to spotting, colour stability, corrosion, and resistance to degradation or peeling of the coating in areas where it is exposed to skin sweat during wear for prolonged periods of time.
There is a circular container on the heating platform. You can add the artificial sweat solution prepared according to a fixed formula and proportion to the container. A set of supports are required to place in the container to hold the sample, ensuring that the lowest part of the sample frame is not less than 12 mm above the solution.
Our frame sweat resistance test machine features a pedestal with a heating function to heat the solution inside the container to a desired temperature such as (55±5)℃ and remain constant for a preset time. What you need to do is to set an intended temperature and the temperature holding time in advance. The rest of the control process is directly handed over to the machine to complete.
Alternatively, you can place the container with the sample into an oven at (55±5)℃ for specified periods to finish the test.
