Swimming Goggles Slipping Resistance Test Machine

Eyewear Headband Slip Resistance Tester is used to simulate repeatedly putting on the swinging goggles with headband. After repeatedly stretching the headband, its displacement relative to the fastening device is checked and recorded for determination.

The headband slipping resistance test machine is equipped with two semi-cylindrical sample jigs. It is similar to a cylinder with a diameter of 135mm and a height of 200mm split through the central axis, and then turned 90 degrees along the vertical line. The two jigs are arranged face to face at a certain distance and with the central perpendicular lines of the two semi-cylinders on the same line.

The lower semi-cylinder is fixed, and the upper semi-cylinder is movable up and down, and is equipped with a force sensor for collecting force data during testing. Before the test, you need to stretch the sample headband to put it on the cylindrical surfaces of the two semi-cylinders, ensuring the glasses are located on the top of the upper semi-cylinder. When the test is started, the upper semi-cylinder clamp will move up until a force of 10N is applied to the sample, and then automatically move down to return to its original position, which is one cycle. The machine will repeatedly stretch the headband at a speed of one cycle per 10 seconds until a total of 60 cycles are completed.

During the test, you must observe for the presence of any abnormality of the headband. The eyewear needs to be removed from the cylinder by sliding up and off within 30 seconds of completing the loading for observation. The displacement of remarks from the headband enters the fastening devices are recorded. For qualified samples, the total amount of slippage of the headband through the fastening devices shall not exceed 6 mm.
