Urethane foam Resilience Tester for Sale
Ball Rebound Tester is used to determine the resilience of the flexible cellular materials or urethane foams. The apparatus consists of a vertical transparent plastic tube with inside diameter of 38 mm and a steel ball with diameter of 16 mm and mass of 16.3g. The steel ball can be positioned at the top of the tube by a magnet and a specimen can be placed at the bottom of the tube, ensuring the height of drop is 500 mm.
When turning the rotary switch at the top of the tube, the steel ball will be released and it falls onto the specimen without rotation, then bounce to a certain height. Unlike traditional ball rebound testers requiring operators to observe and record the rebound height of the iron ball with their eyes, our machine is equipped with a device that can electronically capture and display the rebound height of the steel ball. It has been proven to be consistent with the results read manually and reduces errors.
The instrument is also equipped with a color touch screen to display and record test data. The average of multiple rebound data and the ball rebound resilience value in percent can be automatically calculated, and the test results can be printed on site.
Test Principle
A steel ball of specified diameter and weight is released and freely falls on the foam specimen from the specified height, the ratio of the percentage of maximum height of the rebound of the steel ball and the height of the steel ball falling is calculated, that is the rebound rate.
