Potable Paper Moisture Meter is a handheld moisture tester used to quickly and accurately measure the moisture content of various paper and cardboard.
Our paper moisture meter is a hot-selling water content measuring instrument. It integrates an LCD screen, sensor, microprocessor and circuit in one. It has a wide measuring range of moisture as high as 40% and features straightforward operation, high accuracy, rapid measurement, and reliable data.
The instrument allows non-destructive testing and can be carried conveniently for on-site measurement. It is an important tool for testing moisture in the production process of the papermaking, printing and packaging industries.
The moisture meter has 6 settings to measure the moisture of various papers such as paperboard, pulp board paper, writing paper, waste paper, paper in roll, corrugated fibreboard and so on. You can choose the corresponding setting according to your sample type. Please refer to the following:

Why is the Paper Moisture Meter Important?
The moisture content of the paper has a great influence on printing. If the moisture content is too low, the paper will be brittle, and static electricity is easily generated during printing. If the moisture content is too high, it will be difficult for the ink to dry. The moisture content also greatly influences the various properties of paper. With the change in moisture content, its tensile strength, flexibility, and folding resistance will change as well, and the size of the paper will also expand or contract. It may even result in curl, edge warping, wrinkle, or corrugated edges.
