The IP69K testing equipment is a comprehensive solution, not a standalone unit. It integrates two critical laboratory testing instruments: an IP6X dust test chamber and an IPX9/9K high-temperature and high-pressure waterproof test chamber. Both are essential for IP rating testing, specifically designed to determine whether a product’s enclosure meets the highest environmental protection rating of IP69 and IP69K according to IEC 60529 and ISO 20653 standards. This equipment is vital for product ingress protection validation and environmental simulation testing.
Our IP6X dustproof test chamber (also known as a dust ingress protection chamber or dust reliability testing equipment) accurately simulates dense dust environments. This dust testing equipment exposes samples to controlled conditions for a specified duration to verify the sealing reliability of equipment under harsh industrial dust conditions. Our IP6X dust chamber features a robust, sealed test chamber constructed from high-grade 304 stainless steel. The inner chamber dimensions are customizable to meet your specific testing requirements. The top section of the inner chamber incorporates one or more powder spray nozzles (depending on the chamber size), which atomize talc powder to create a uniformly dusty atmosphere throughout the test environment. The bottom of the inner chamber features an inverted square pyramid design, topped with a sample rack made of crisscrossing stainless steel strips for secure sample placement. A vibration device is installed within the cone to generate a shaking environment during testing, ensuring rapid and efficient descent of talc powder to the bottom and preventing accumulation. The talc powder collection port is precisely located at the bottom of the cone, where the concentric cones meet. Collected by gravity, the dust media is then transported by a powerful blower through the integrated dust circulation system to the dust outlet at the top, completing a continuous and cyclical dust testing process. To prevent dust agglomeration, our IP6X dustproof chamber includes heating elements at the bottom of the inner chamber for dust heating and dehumidification, preventing clumping and ensuring consistent IP6X testing requirements are met. For negative pressure testing required by IP6X standards, our machine is equipped with a vacuum pump, which connects to the sample via an air tube. This pump extracts air at a specified rate to create the necessary negative pressure environment for accurate dust ingress testing. The dust test machine is simple and user-friendly, featuring an intuitive 7-inch touchscreen human-machine interface (HMI). Operators can easily set test parameters and monitor test status. The machine supports both continuous dust blowing mode and intermittent dust blowing modes, offering flexibility for various dustproofing tests.
The IPX9/9K high-pressure spray test chamber is recognized as the highest-level waterproof testing equipment available. This water ingress protection chamber offers advanced water resistance testing capabilities. Compared to other IP waterproof testing systems, it uniquely heats the test water to 85 degrees Celsius, significantly intensifying the severity of this waterproof rating test. Our IPX9 test chamber features an inner chamber also made of durable 304 stainless steel, housing essential test components, a turntable, and the sample. Four precisely machined, burr-free nozzles are strategically arranged at 0°, 30°, 60°, and 90° angles on a vertical plane of a support assembly. This flexible support allows for horizontal and vertical adjustment of the nozzles to accommodate the required spray distances for different sample sizes. The area where the four nozzles converge defines the sample mounting area, supported by a sturdy stainless steel turntable. Samples can be securely fixed on this rotational platform and rotated at a specified speed to ensure uniform water exposure across the sample surface. The entire waterproof testing system utilizes a sustainable water recycling system, making it highly water-efficient and preventing wetting of the surrounding test area. During operation, each nozzle sprays water onto the sample at a specified flow rate for a defined duration, with the four nozzles activating sequentially at specified intervals to complete the comprehensive IPX9 water spray test. The water spray impact force can be calibrated with the optional calibration device. The waterproof test machine is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, enabling operators to easily input test parameters and monitor the test status for efficient IPX9/9K certification.
